Grade 5 Music!

Grade 5 music students are studying “Music Which Portrays a Theme” during term 3. They have explored music from French composer Camille Saint-Saens from the Romantic era who composed “The Carnival of the Animals”, a suite of 14 movements focused on animals like kangaroos, birds, fish, etc. Here, Ayah in 5A is playing “The Aquarium”, the 7th movement in the suite, composed in 1886. Well done Ayah!

A message from the Directors of Annie Jr

Ms Anna and Ms Maddy would like to thank year 4 students Cemre Babayigit, Roa'a Nashaibi, Sule Gunduz, Isra Cicek, Ceren Ozturk, Zeyneb Giray for their cameo appearance in Sirius College’s inaugural musical Annie Jr. Their contributions lit up the stage, we are very grateful to have them a part of our cast for the special opening night. In addition, we would like to thank Ms Eser Sozer for supervising and coaching the students.
